File Versions
The File Versions section is used when the same document file needs to be updated over time. Replacing a file version keeps one document record and preserves a version history of changes to that file. This differs from Attachments (supporting files) and Revisions (new revision records), because file versions track updates to the same document item.
What you can do in File Versions
- Replace the current file while keeping the same document record
- Maintain a history of previous file versions
- Review the latest and prior file versions in one place
