Review
The Review section of Document Details puts one document on a recurring review schedule, and shows its review record. Open it from Document details → Review in the left navigation.
Changing a schedule requires the Documents - Manage Review Schedules permission. Without it the section is read-only. Reviewers do not respond here: each round sends them an action request, and they respond from their Inbox.
Setting up a review
A document with no schedule shows This document is not under scheduled review.

| Setting | What it does |
|---|---|
| Review every | Every 6 months · Every 12 months · Every 24 months · One-off review |
| Reviewed by | The distribution group whose members receive the review. |
| First review due | When the first round falls due. Required for a One-off review. |
Under More options:
| Setting | What it does |
|---|---|
| Review type | The review programme that decides the round — what reviewers answer, and how their replies close it. Use the default leaves it to the programme that applies to this document. |
| Time of day | Pins every due date to a clock time. Times are in the server's time zone. |
| Open review before due | How far ahead of the due date the round opens: 0 days · 7 days · 14 days · 30 days. |
Select Set up review.
In time zones ahead of UTC, the saved First review due date can land one day earlier than the date chosen. Check the date shown in the status line after saving.
A scheduled document

The status line shows the state and the next due date. Below it, the schedule reads as, for example, Every 12 months, by Compliance Team, followed by where the schedule comes from:
- Set on this document — the schedule was made for this document.
- Inherited from … — a folder or document-type rule applies it. Select Override to give this document its own schedule instead.

| Action | What it does |
|---|---|
| Review now | Opens a round straight away. The next scheduled due date does not move. Unavailable while a round is open. |
| Pause / Resume | Stops and restarts the schedule without losing it. |
| Edit schedule | Reopens the settings above. |
| Remove | Takes the document off scheduled review. Past rounds stay in its history. |
An open round
While a round is open the status reads In review, and the round lists each participant and whether they have responded.

If the file is replaced during a round, a warning notes that decisions already taken were made against a different version. What happens next is set by the programme's When the file is replaced mid-review setting.
Closed rounds appear under Review history, with the revision each round reviewed, its outcome and the date it closed.
